The Thyssen-Bornemisza packs its works of art

Tetra Pak

As part of International Museum Day, Tetra Pack, the largest packaging company in the world, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation, signed a collaboration agreement for the free distribution of water in Tetra Pak containers, displaying four works of art belonging to the Thyssen Museum. With this initiative, we promoted the ‘on the go’ product, while also reinforcing the sustainability message with an FSC-certified container.

Paul Klee’s Revolving House; Portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni by Domenico Ghirlandaio; The Grand Canal from San Vío, Venice by Canaletto; Orchid and Hummingbird near a Mountain Waterfall by Martin Johnson Heade, were the works of art which, each related to a sustainability concept, were illustrated on the 30,000 containers that were distributed in emblematic spaces such as the Puerta de Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Cibeles, Plaza de Neptuno and in the gardens of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Musuem.
