Casa Cosme Palacio is the most exclusive initiative of Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos within the luxury tourism sector, under a revolutionary and unique concept in Spain: accommodation only by invitation.
After a total rehabilitation and reformation of the hundred-year-old Bodega Cosme Palacio, guests are offered a five-star service, personalized itinerary arrangements and nearly 4,000 m2 of facilities to enjoy in a private atmosphere, so that they feel “at home”.
To effectively transmit the qualities of this slow-travel accommodation proposal and strengthen the positioning of Cosme Palacio y Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos.
We developed a very detailed PR strategy and action plan that covered press releases, interviews and press trips to communicate La Casa Cosme Palacio’s proposal to the media and public of interest.
How we did it
As a first phase, we communicated the opening of La Casa Cosme Palacio through a press release to the media and information leaders linked to the tourism, economic and wine sectors and its subsequent follow-up, which allowed us to measure the interest aroused and execute a secondary phase.
In addition to this project, we managed and carried out two press trips for journalists specialized in tourism of excellence, in which we accompanied the Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos team to introduce the project in situ.
The balanced combination of these actions has resulted in an excellent outcome in the form of reports, interviews and great media coverage that more than fulfills the established objectives of brand positioning and awareness.
