Bnext Bnext is a Spanish Fintech born in 2017 aimed at being the digital alternative to conventional banks, based on transparency and digitisation. Its users benefit from the functionalities offered by the platform, which has the certificate of electronic money issuer issued by the Bank of Spain, such as international remittance of capital, control of expenses, purchase and sale of crypto-assets or discounts in establishments for using their card, among others.
For the release of its B3X token, Bnext wanted to bring together the main media in Spain to tell them first-hand about the launch of its token, which is based on utility and not speculation, on 13 September. In a generally turbulent environment for the crypto world, it was a big challenge for everyone, client, agency and journalists.
In August there was a big image crisis for crypto-assets after the “Mundocrypto Metaverse Day” scandal and all the press was very concerned about publications and mentions of any content of this type.
In addition to organising the ins and outs of the event, we had to take care of communicating to the media the solidity of the Bnext company and its product, based on the benefits and utilities that B3X has for its users and on its non-speculative essence. It was also a challenge to adjust to the CNMV regulations, having to pass a minimum validation of 10 days for each of the pieces and communications developed for this milestone
How we did it
We considered the client’s own offices on Calle Zurbano in Madrid to make this possible. This way the media could also get to know the company and its employees, creating a very relaxed atmosphere.
Over the summer we carried out the save the date for the event and the call to the media, as well as all the organisation of what was going to happen there.
The materials for the press release, Q&A to support the attendees, the agenda and scripts for the speakers and all the creativity we needed for this meeting were prepared.
On 8 September, the day of the event, our team went to the Bnext offices early in the morning to ensure that everything was properly prepared for the journalists and partners. SECNewgate took care of the attendance control and registration, the reception, the welcome pack delivery, the coordination of the catering and the photographic equipment, as well as the preparation of the video news with Europa Press.
We also took care of the interview agenda on site, so that all attendees could have their statements and the speaking time of each manager and the round of questions.
The subsequent dissemination, monitoring and final impact report was carried out throughout the following week, achieving a total success, 62 impacts and a PR valuation of close to 1 million euros.
